Man arrested after Kingsbury fatal car crash

A 30-year-old man has been arrested after a woman passenger died when the car she was in hit a signpost in Warwickshire, police have said.

Warwickshire Police said the crash happened at 05:00 GMT on the A4097 at Kingsbury.

A man who was also in the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.

The arrested man is in custody at Nuneaton, a force spokesman said.
