A group of travellers who have set up camp in a Coventry car park have been given until Friday to leave the site.

A number of caravans and other vehicles arrived at the War Memorial Park car park last week.

Coventry City Council said bailiffs served an eviction notice on Wednesday morning, giving the group 48 hours to leave.

One traveller has previously told the BBC they would go if issued with the notice.

The vehicles are currently taking up about 30 spaces in the 400-bay car park.
