Ex-partner sought over Coventry car stabbing

A woman found stabbed in a parked car may have been the victim of a "targeted attack" by her ex-partner, West Midlands Police have said.

The 20-year-old, who is in a "serious but stable" condition, was found in Torcastle Close, Paradise, Coventry.

She was taken to University Hospital in Walsgrave after she was found at 17:10 BST on Monday.

Police said their investigations were at an early stage and appealed for witnesses to come forward.
