More than 30 calls were made over flooding in the Coventry area on Saturday, the fire service said.

Kingfield Road, Alderman's Green and Earlsdon were among areas affected.

A disabled man on a motorised scooter became stranded in flood water in an underpass near the Skydome at about 09:45 BST on Sunday.

A fire service crew pushed him out of the water after he became stuck in about six inches of water when the battery in his scooter stopped working.
