A swimming pool has reopened after a teenager suffered a serious head injury.

The boy had to be pulled out by a lifeguard following the incident in the splash pool at Coventry Sports & Leisure Centre on Wednesday afternoon.

Coventry Sports Trust, which manages the centre, said the splash pool had reopened earlier "but with limited features".

It said the boy was "expected to make a full recovery".

Officials at the centre have been carrying out an official investigation .
