Man arrested on suspicion of David Ryding murder in Rugby

A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died from injuries suffered in an assault near a taxi rank in Warwickshire.

David Ryding, of Moreton, in Wirral, Merseyside, was attacked near the Clock Tower in Market Place, Rugby, at 05:00 BST on Sunday.

He died in hospital from head injuries on Monday.

Two men, aged 25 and 27, who were arrested on suspicion of affray, have been released on bail, police said.
