Motorcyclist airlifted after tree crash in Atherstone

A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital after crashing into a tree in Warwickshire.

The rider, in his 20s came off his bike while riding along the Coleshill Road, Bentley, near Atherstone, at 12:30 BST on Saturday.

The man suffered serious injuries to his neck, back and head, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.

He was taken by air ambulance to the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire.
