M40 two-car collision victim named as Aysha Razia Awan

A woman killed in a two-car collision on the M40 in Warwickshire has been named by police.

Aysha Razia Awan, 20, from Hounslow, Middlesex, died in the crash on the northbound carriageway between junctions 12 and 13 on Wednesday night.

Two men suffered minor injuries and were released by ambulance crews.

A post-mortem examination was due to take place on Friday. The 20-year-old's family described her as a "loving sister and daughter".

A family statement read: "Aysha Razia Awan was a bubbly 20 year old.

"Aysha had her whole life ahead of her. She was a beautiful person inside and out and loved by everyone.

"She will be dearly missed by her family and friends and will forever be in our hearts, as she is laid to rest beside her mother and grandmother."
