Coventry school fire sees reptiles rescued

A collection of reptiles has been rescued from a fire at a school.

Five snakes, a spider and two lizards had to be rescued from the blaze at Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School on Potters Green Road in Coventry.

Crews called to the scene at 19:45 BST found one classroom - sized 100m x 30m (330ft x 100ft) - on fire, West Midlands Fire Service said.

The fire was put out just after 21:00 BST. It is understood no-one was hurt.
