Warwickshire Police officer David Hilton charged with harassment

A Warwickshire police officer has been charged with harassment and misconduct in public office.

The force said David Hilton, 50, who lives in Derbyshire, was currently suspended from duty.

He was initially arrested on 4 May and was released on police bail after questioning.

He was charged earlier on Friday and is due to appear before magistrates in Leamington Spa on 12 June, Warwickshire Police said.
