Norovirus closes Nuneaton's George Eliot Hospital to visitors

A Warwickshire hospital is closed to visitors due to an outbreak of the winter vomiting bug.

Visiting has been suspended at The George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton due to vomiting and diarrhoea on several wards.

A spokesperson said the decision has been taken in the "best interests" of patients and will be reviewed daily.

Exceptions include compassionate grounds, maternity and special care visiting.
