Coventry Central Library shuts for three weeks

Central Libary The building is due to reopen on 18 March

Coventry's main library will be shut for the next three weeks for a £130,000 revamp to be carried out.

Council leaders say that as part of the development, the Central Library will be repainted and have wi-fi installed.

They said that as the library, in Smithford Way, is open seven days a week, the temporary closure was the only way to carry out the work.

During the closure, a mobile library will be in place on Ironmongers Row. The building will reopen on 18 March.
