Bedworth man admits child rape

A 38-year-old man from Bedworth has admitted raping an 11-year-old boy.

Simon John Heritage faced five charges after an attack on the boy on Sharratt Road on 31 October.

He pleaded guilty to all charges at Warwick Crown Court, including kidnap, carrying an article with a blade, inciting a boy under 13 to engage in sexual activity and two counts of rape.

Heritage is expected to be sentenced at Warwick Crown Court at the end of January.
