Motorcyclist dies following Kingsbury crash

A motorcyclist who was involved in an accident in which a pedestrian was killed has died in hospital.

Abid Hussain Awan, from Ward End in Birmingham, died when he was hit by the silver Honda on the A4097 near Kingsbury, Warwickshire, on 12 October.

The man riding the motorcycle suffered head and face injuries and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, where he died this week.

Warwickshire Police is still investigating the incident.

A police spokesperson said they would like to speak to anyone who saw Mr Awan or the silver Honda before the collision occurred at 00:45 BST.
