Kingsbury motorbike crash death man named

A 40-year-old man who died after being hit by a motorcycle on a road in Warwickshire has been named.

Abid Hussain Awan, from Ward End in Birmingham, was hit by the silver Honda on the A4097 near Kingsbury at about 00:45 BST on Friday, 12 October.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with injuries to his head and face.

Police, who are appealing for witnesses, said they believe the motorbike overtook a lorry shortly before the crash.
