A 21-year old man has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences after the death of a man whose body was found on the A444 in Warwickshire.

Police were called to the northbound carriageway of the road, near to Sutherland Drive, Bedworth, by a passing motorist on Sunday morning.

Officers were questioning the man, arrested on Sunday, at Nuneaton Police Station.

The dead man has been named as Sean Andrew Morley, 20, from Bedworth.

A former pupil of King Edward VI College, in Nuneaton, Mr Morley's family described him as a "well known, popular young man who was loved by family and friends".

Investigation work closed the road in both directions from the junction with the M6 to the Griff Roundabout.

Both carriageways were reopened on Sunday afternoon, police said.
