Man dies at Global Gathering event

A man attending the Global Gathering dance music festival in Warwickshire has died.

Police said paramedics called to the scene on Saturday afternoon found the 24-year-old man unconscious in a tent. He was declared dead at the scene.

A spokesman said the death was being treated as unexplained and a post-mortem examination would take place.

Global Gathering is a two-day event at Long Marston airfield, near Stratford-upon-Avon.

Up to 40,000 people are thought to have attended this year's event which took place on Friday and Saturday. Camping fields were open until Sunday.

Artists such as Tinie Tempah, Skrillex and Chase & Status performed.
