River Leam flood warning in place after heavy rain

A flood warning for the River Leam in Warwickshire has been issued by the Environment Agency following heavy rain overnight.

The stretch of the river most at risk passes through the villages of Eathorpe, Hunningham and Offchurch.

The agency expected the water level to continue to rise through Saturday afternoon and early evening.

Flood alerts were also issued along other parts of the river as well as the rivers Anker, Avon, Swift and Stour.
