A woman who died in a crash near The Belfry golf course in Warwickshire last week has been named by police.

Michelle Thomas, 36, from Daventry, died after a car she was driving collided with a van on the A446 Lichfield Road in Wishaw on 6 June.

Emergency services were called shortly after 17:50 BST but Ms Thomas was confirmed dead at the scene.

Her family, from the Isle of Wight, described her as a "much-loved daughter and sister".

Warwickshire Police are continuing to investigate.

Officers have appealed for anyone who saw a blue Honda Civic or Volkswagen Transporter van on the A446 during the evening to contact them.
