Coventry Telegraph editor Darren Parkin suspended

The editor of the Coventry Telegraph has been suspended, it has emerged.

Darren Parkin, who has run the daily city paper since November 2009, was suspended on 6 June.

Mr Parkin became the country's youngest newspaper editor, when he took over running the News in Wolverhampton when he was 24 years old.

His current employer Trinity Mirror confirmed a member of staff in Coventry had been suspended.
