Players vie for UK Open Scrabble title in Coventry

Some of the best Scrabble players in the world have arrived in the West Midlands for what is believed to be the largest Scrabble tournament in Europe.

It is the fifth year in a row the UK Open title has been held in Coventry and up to 60 players are expected to take part in the event.

Robert Linn from Washington DC, Suzanne Dundas from the Netherlands, and Steve Poletnick from Miami are just three of the competitors hoping to walk away with a share of the £10,000 prize fund.
