Crews tackle Withybrook barn fire for second night

Firefighters are preparing to tackle a serious fire at a barn in Warwickshire for the second night running.

About 250 tonnes of hay ignited in Milethorn Farm, Leicester Road, Withybrook, at about 2241 BST on Thursday.

Warwickshire Fire & Rescue Service said the 75ft by 98ft (23m by 30m) barn was well alight when crews arrived.

It said crews would remain on site mainly damping down overnight on Friday into Saturday.

It is not thought the cause of the fire was suspicious.
