Man arrested after TV and laptop theft from Rugby Aldi

A 37-year-old man has been arrested following a break-in at an Aldi supermarket in Warwickshire.

Officers were called to a burglary at the store on Central Park Drive, Rugby, at about 0230 BST on Wednesday.

Shortly after they arrested the driver of a Peugeot 306 car, found to contain a number of TVs and laptops they believe were stolen from Aldi.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of burglary and has been bailed pending further police investigations.
