Fillongley man-made beach inquiry starts
The beach has also been refused retrospective planning permission
A public inquiry is under way into a long-running dispute over a man-made beach built at a conference centre in Warwickshire.
The attraction is part of Heart Park at Fillongley.
Owner Stephen Hammon, 45, has already been fined £4,000 for failing to remove a wedding marquee at the site.
North Warwickshire Borough Council refused a retrospective planning application for the beach saying it was trying to protect green belt land.
Developer Stephen Hammon has appealed against the council's decision saying up to 60 people's jobs depended on the site, which is used for team-building exercises as well as a visitor attraction.
