A light aircraft was forced to make a crash landing at Jersey Airport on Saturday.

The airport launched a full-scale emergency response after receiving a mayday from the plane.

All flights to and from the island were put on hold while the aircraft landed, said the airport.

The plane's undercarriage collapsed upon landing, but no-one was hurt and the plane was eventually removed from the runway.
