Man killed in microlight crash in Devon

Microlight Two men were on board the microlight when it crashed

A man has died in a microlight crash in Devon.

The light aircraft came down at Wiscombe Grange in Colyton, near Lyme Regis, at about 10:00 BST, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

Two men were on board the microlight when it crashed. One was confirmed dead at the scene while the other was not seriously injured.

The Air Accidents Investigation Branch has been informed and will be sending inspectors to the scene.

A spokeswoman from the South Western Ambulance Service said the injured man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
