A motorist died when her car overturned and landed in a field in Cornwall.

Her Vauxhall Corsa came to rest in a field at Morwenstow, near Bude, and the woman, who has not been named, died at the scene.

A police spokesman said despite firefighters' efforts to cut her free, the woman, aged in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
