Huge waves pound Porthleven harbour in Cornwall

Huge waves have been pounding Porthleven harbour in Cornwall where 10 boats sank in Wednesday's storm.

Tidal buoys measured some of the waves heading into Porthleven at more than 40 ft (12m).

The spectacular scene was watched by hundreds of people.

At one point the police had to close roads into the village.
