Couple died from head injuries and a stabbing

A husband and wife who were found dead in their home in west Cornwall died as a result of head injuries and a stabbing, a coroner has said.

The bodies of Derisa and Jonathan Trenchard were found at their bungalow on Polwithen Drive in Carbis Bay on 2 October.

Mrs Trenchard died from head injuries and her husband had been stabbed in the chest.

An inquest has been opened and adjourned.

The pair, aged 50 and 48, had three sons.
