Man airlifted from Falmouth Bay tanker with steam burns

A man has been airlifted from a tanker with up to 30% steam burns to his face, arms and legs.
The man, who was a Russian crew member onboard the vessel in Falmouth Bay, was taken to Plymouth's Derriford Hospital by helicopter from RNAS Culdrose.
Falmouth Coastguards were alerted at about 22:20 BST and said it was unclear how the man sustained the injuries.
The tanker remains anchored in Falmouth Bay and the crew member's condition is unknown.
