Bodmin fire: Man arrested on suspicion of arson

A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to danger life after a fire at a bungalow in Cornwall.

Two women, who were inside the property in St George's Crescent, in Bodmin, were taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital following the blaze at about 01:30 BST.

They were treated for smoke inhalation and one woman suffered burns to her hand.

A 37-year-old man, from Truro, has been released on police bail until August.
