The number of recorded dog attacks on animals such as cows and horses has increased, according to Devon and Cornwall police.

The British Horse Society said that in the last two years it had been told about 46 recorded dog attacks on horses in the south west.

Duchy College in Cornwall has introduced training classes for dogs in an attempt to familiarise them with farm animals.
