Concern is growing for a missing retired vicar whose car was found abandoned near a remote clifftop, Devon and Cornwall Police have said.

Barry Kinsmen, 72, from Padstow in Cornwall, failed to attend a lunch on New Year's Eve and has not been seen since.

Mr Kinsmen's blue Ford Ka was found abandoned at Hawker's Cove, near the town, last weekend.

He used to work at St Petroc's Church in Padstow.

Mr Kinsmen is described as being about 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build with thinning grey hair.

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
