Companies who previously exhibited at a major agricultural event are being warned by organisers they may be at risk of a scam.

The secretary of the Royal Cornwall Show said an organisation had been contacting exhibitors about providing an exhibitors' directory.

Chris Riddle said the Wadebridge show had no link with such an organisation. He has told Trading Standards.

Mr Riddle said traders were being asked for a fee of 1,271 euros (£1,034).
