Killed St Mabyn crash cyclist named as John Philips

John Philips Mr Philips was killed while cycling with two friends between St Mabyn and Longstone

A cyclist who died in a crash with a Land Rover in Cornwall has been formally identified.

John Philips, 50, from St Mabyn died after being hit on a minor road in the area.

He had been cycling with two friends when the collision happened on Sunday morning. Police said Mr Philips died at the scene.

His family described him as a "devoted husband and father and a beloved son".
