Crash on A30 near Camborne seriously injures woman

A woman is in a critical condition in hospital after a crash involving three cars and a motorcycle on the A30 in Cornwall.

The woman in her 60s was cut free from the wreckage of her vehicle after the collision at the Roseworthy Dip, near Camborne, at 18:50 BST on Friday.

She sustained life-threatening injuries and the motorcyclist suffered serious leg injuries, police said.

The road was closed for about 14 hours, the Devon and Cornwall force added.
