Launceston's Stephen Lang denies murdering his grandfather

Tom Lang Tom Lang was found with multiple fractures in his Launceston home and died three days later

A teenager has denied murdering his 91-year-old grandfather in Cornwall.

Stephen Lang, 19, of Queen Elizabeth Road, Launceston, pleaded not guilty to murdering Tom Lang at the older man's Trecarn Close property.

Mr Lang was found with multiple fractures after an alleged break in at his home on 17 April. He died three days later in Derriford Hospital.

At Exeter Crown Court, the defendant was remanded in custody and will face trial at Truro Crown Court next year.
