Launceston car stolen with boy, 8, inside
A car with an eight-year-old boy sat inside it was stolen from outside a Cornish shop, police have said.
The silver VW golf was taken from Dutson Road, Launceston at about 14:00 BST on Tuesday.
Police said the boy had been left in the car while the driver went into a shop. He was let out unharmed after a short time travelling in the vehicle.
A man, 29, was arrested on suspicion of theft after the vehicle was involved in a collision a short time later.

Officers pursued the vehicle and found it had collided with a silver Vauxhall Insignia on the A39. The female driver of the Vauxhall was treated for minor injuries.
The man driving the Golf suffered suspected spinal injuries and was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital.
Devon and Cornwall Police said it had "voluntarily" referred the incident to the Independent Police Complaints Commission for their consideration.
