Armed Fraddon garage scratch card theft suspect named

A man suspected of threatening garage staff at a Cornish garage with a gun has been named by police.

The armed robber made off with a handful of scratch cards from the Shell garage at Fraddon on Monday night.

Devon and Cornwall Police said they want to speak to 23-year-old Adam Peters, from the Whitleigh area of Plymouth, about the robbery.

The public have been advised not to approach the suspect, but to call 999 immediately.

After the incident, at about 22:30 BST, armed police officers and the force helicopter were involved in the hunt for the suspect.

No-one was injured in the robbery.
