Thousands attend Stithians Agricultural Show

The show features a host of animals Stithians Show is one of the oldest one day events in the country

Thousands of people have attended Cornwall's biggest one-day agricultural event.

As well as bird, cattle and dog shows, the show also hosts musical entertainment, craft stalls and a fairground.

Recent bad weather has forced some agricultural shows to be cancelled, including the Launceston Show.

Organisers said the event had been cancelled because of the state of fields after the adverse weather.
