Pengegon fire crew hampered by hoarder's stash

Attempts to tackle a blaze at a house in Cornwall were hampered by the "compulsive hoarding" by the occupier, firefighters have said.

More than 45 firefighters were needed to bring the blaze in Pengegon under control on Thursday night.

No-one was hurt in the fire, which was attended by crews from Camborne, Penzance, Helston, and St Just.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue has warned hoarding and clutter can increase fire risk.
