Drugs stolen from Liskeard veterinary surgery

Drugs including diazepam, ketamine and methadone have been stolen from a veterinary surgery in Cornwall.

Police said a "substantial amount" was taken in the raid on the David Ellis Veterinary Surgery in Liskeard, at about 21:30 BST on Saturday.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the intruders used a sledgehammer and crowbar to get into the surgery, which were left at the scene.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
