Teenager holidaymaker hurt in 25ft Cornish cliff fall

A teenager is in hospital after plunging 25 feet (7.6m) from a cliff in north Cornwall.

Coastguards said the 15-year-old holidaymaker fell from cliffs at Trevone Bay, near Padstow, just after midnight.

He had been on the beach with some friends when they tried to scramble up the cliffs. He fell when he lost his footing.

The boy was being treated for chest injuries in hospital.
