Fire gutted part of a disused Cambridgeshire factory, leaving the building "structurally unsound", the fire service said.

Eight crews tackled the blaze, which started at about 04:30 BST in Cromwell Road, St Neots.

The fire was put out shortly after 07:00 but left the entire unit smoke-logged, a spokesman said.

"A full investigation will take place but early indications are that it was started deliberately," he added.

Crews remained at the scene during the morning, dampening down hotspots.
