Cambridgeshire cyclist killed in collision with car on B1040

A cyclist has died following a collision between a car and two bicycles in Cambridgeshire.

Lisa Wilson, 21, of Station Road, Warboys, suffered fatal injuries on the B1040 near Pondersbridge on Sunday night.

She died later in Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.

The other cyclist, a 17-year-old girl from Warboys, was slightly injured. The 68-year-old woman driver of the car, a Vauxhall Astra, was not injured.

Cambridgeshire Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident.

The cyclists were riding from Whittlesey towards Pondersbridge at the time of the collision.
