Peterborough child death: Couple plead not guilty

Two people have denied causing the death of a two-year-old girl.

The child died in hospital after a "blunt force trauma" injury ruptured her liver on 21 November.

Sarah Raqueman, 28, of Harebell Close in Peterborough, pleaded not guilty at Cambridge Crown Court to causing or allowing her death.

Ms Raqueman's boyfriend, Dean Harris, 19, of Yaxley, pleaded not guilty to murdering the child. Their trial was set for 2 June.
