Fatal death A10 crash suspect bailed

A man arrested following the death of a woman in a three-car crash in Cambridgeshire has been bailed.

Tania Macedo, 25, of Welland Place, Ely, died in the accident on the A10 between Little Thetford and Stretham at about 19:45 BST on Wednesday.

She was a passenger in a blue Honda Civic. The driver and a child passenger were seriously injured.

A man, 43, from the Ely area, was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit either through drink or drugs.

He has been released on bail until 19 December.

The two other vehicles involved in the accident were a blue Renault Megane and a silver Volvo.

The driver of the Volvo was uninjured. Two passengers in the vehicle, a woman and a seven-year-old boy from the Ely area, suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the Renault, a 43-year-old man, was uninjured, Cambridgeshire Police said.
