Cows trample man in St Neots causing 'significant injuries'

A man has been taken to hospital with "significant injuries" after being trampled by a herd of cows, ambulance crews have said.

The East of England Ambulance Service said the man, in his 60s, was found hurt in a field in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, at 19:30 BST on Monday.

A critical care paramedic, an ambulance and a response car attended the scene.

He is now being treated at the specialist trauma centre at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
