The death of a man in a house fire in Cambridgeshire is not being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.

The man's body was discovered at a property in Kingsmead Court, Littleport, on 18 August.

Residents living nearby reported hearing an explosion at about 11:50 BST. Crews took about seven hours to extinguish the blaze.

No-one else was hurt in the fire, the cause of which has not yet been disclosed.

An inquest will be opened on Thursday.
