Gamlingay villagers fund their own £1m turbine

Villagers have clubbed together to provide their own £1m source of renewable energy.

The wind turbine at Gamlingay in Cambridgeshire, which can generate enough power for 100 homes, is owned by the community and any surplus money it makes will go to local projects and charities.

Mike Cartwright reports.
